HERE BE DRAGONS

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

..the city, not the beach.

My mom and I have started shooting our toes when we travel. (Ok, ok, we've each only done it once. I do have a year-old pic of my feet in San Diego somewhere on this website.) So, here's for Mom.

This bar in the hotel zone claimed to have been "seen in Cocktail." A not so great Mexican band tried to sing American rock songs, but obviously didn't know the correct lyrics. But the couple at the neighboring table bought us a round of drinks, the middle-aged English guy in front of us entertained us with jigs, and I danced the last song with a stranger.
